Enforced is a crossover thrash/hardcore punk band based in Richmond, Virginia. The band was formed in 2016 and consists of five members: Knox Colby (vocals), Will Wagstaff (guitar), Zach Monahan (guitar), Ethan Gensurowsky (bass), and Alex Bishop (drums).
Enforced’s music draws heavily from 1980s thrash metal and hardcore punk, incorporating elements of both genres to create a unique sound that is both fast-paced and aggressive. The band has been compared to early Metallica, Exodus, and Cro-Mags, among others.
Enforced released their debut album, At the Walls, in 2019 on War Records. The album received critical acclaim and helped to establish Enforced as a rising force in the crossover thrash scene. The band followed up with their sophomore album, “Kill Grid,” in 2021, which was also well received.
Enforced has toured extensively in support of their music, sharing the stage with bands such as Power Trip, Iron Reagan, and Sacred Reich. They are known for their high-energy live performances and their commitment to keeping the spirit of thrash and hardcore alive.
Knox Colby is the lead vocalist of the crossover thrash/hardcore punk band Enforced. He is known for his powerful and intense vocal delivery, which perfectly complements the band’s fast-paced and aggressive sound.
Knox Colby’s stage presence is often described as commanding and energetic, and he is known for his ability to connect with the audience and create a sense of unity and intensity at Enforced’s live shows. His vocals, which range from deep growls to high-pitched screams, are a signature element of the band’s sound and have helped to set Enforced apart from other crossover thrash/hardcore punk bands.
